Top Soil Blend

At Yard Market we screen our own topsoil and add the proper ratio of clay, sand, and compost to create a perfect topsoil blend that is great for lawn renovations, gardens, new plantings, and amending existing soil.

Topsoil is comprised of three basic components: organic matter, sand, and clay. A high ratio of clay will create a dense soil that is difficult for air and water to penetrate. If the soil contains too much sand the soil will drain too quickly and and it will not retain the proper moisture and nutrients. Organic matter provides the proper nutrients to stimulate and sustain plants, trees, shrubs, and grasses.

*Topsoil is sold online in ONE YARD increments only.

*If you order more than one type of bulk item and you do not want them mixed, there will be a delivery fee for each bulk item ordered. Unfortunately, our trucks cannot separate the loads.

Additionally, our trucks have a weight limit for delivery, very large orders might require multiple deliveries so additional fees will apply.
